Tremalzo mountain bike – MTB tour to the Tremalzo Pass via San Michele<\/h2>\n

They say that every self-respecting mountain biker must have ridden up Monte Tremalzo at least once or done an Alpine cross<\/a>.<\/p>\n

My first mountain bike tour on Monte Tremalzo was a few years ago. I was then with my buddy Ralph the first time to bike at the Lago and had no idea what to expect. At that time I did not know so many tours and did not know how the trail conditions are. That’s why we chose the route over Passo Nota.<\/p>\n

The gravel ascent from Passo Nota was quite exhausting, the unrhythmic driving took a lot of energy. But there were also some bikers who actually cranked up the hill with a bike trailer and their kid in it. Crazy!
Once we reached the top of the tunnel, it was late April and there was still some snow, we took the same route back.<\/p>\n

On the way to Malga Ciapa<\/h3>\n

Together with K\u00e4the I did the first Tremalzo mountain bike tour in 2018. K\u00e4the had read somewhere that there should be the best spaghetti al pomodoro in the Malga Ciapa…We had first considered going to Tremalzo by car. The route goes up the pass road to Rifugio Garda via Lake Ledro. From there you would have had to walk the rest. Since the pass road was too narrow for our car, we quickly abandoned the project.<\/p>\n

So we researched further and in our Albrecht Tour Guide<\/a> we found a MTB tour to Tremalzo from Vesio via San Michele. Since I knew there would be some elevation gain, we rented an E-MTB for K\u00e4the from Skyclimber<\/a>. This was also our first experience with a mountain bike with assistance.<\/p>\n
