Tandem Paragliding Lake Garda – In the morning at breakfast on the terrace of our vacation apartment<\/a> I saw again the colorful paragliders<\/strong> in the air and wondered how it feels to glide over Lake Garda<\/strong>?!<\/p>\n

And there it was again… the desire to try something new!<\/strong> Andy was at first surprised about my suggestion, but then fully on board.<\/p>\n

So I started looking on the internet for tandem paragliding Lake Garda<\/strong> and found Riccardo<\/a> because of great reviews. My husband contacted Riccardo via WhatsApp and we booked two tandem flights<\/strong>. Riccardo asked some more data (height, weight, etc) and also gave us all the information, such as sunglasses, sturdy shoes and windproof jacket<\/a>.<\/p>\n

All communication was very simple and straightforward!<\/strong><\/p>\n

Unfortunately, we had to postpone our flights twice due to bad weather conditions, but all good things come in threes. Then finally at the third appointment Riccardo contacted us again in writing and finally confirmed the flight.<\/p>\n

A dream come true!<\/h3>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Fortified with a delicious brioche from the Rossi bakery,<\/a> we left Ustecchio\/Tremosine early by car so as not to be late. We met at the valley station of the cable car to Monte Baldo and we met our paraglider<\/strong> pilots Riccardo<\/strong> and Peter.<\/strong> The contact was directly very funny and relaxed<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

During the ascent<\/strong> by cable car<\/strong> to the top of Monte Baldo<\/strong>, we have already received all the necessary information<\/strong>. Arriving at the summit, we got out of the gondola and a thick fog<\/strong> greeted us. I plodded unsteadily behind the men until my husband gave me his hand and simply led me.<\/p>\n

Once at the launch site<\/strong>, the pilots prepared everything for the launch and also helped us put on the life jacket<\/strong> and harness<\/strong>. The fog has now also said goodbye and it could start. Now I was really bouncy and nervous…! How will it feel, will I get sick, am I doing everything right????<\/strong><\/p>\n

I still asked Riccardo: “What if I have to throw up?”<\/strong> He just said with a grin, “Then I have a problem!”<\/strong> I’ll leave it like that now. \ud83d\ude0a<\/p>\n

Fly like an Eagle!<\/h3>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Now we were ready to go, Riccardo<\/strong> shouted<\/strong> : “Let’s go…run…”<\/strong> and poof<\/strong> we were already in the air. The wind on the skin and the sun on the face, indescribable. It was all so smooth and quiet, no engine noise, very different from what I imagined.<\/strong> The panorama is fantastic, you don’t know where to look first. My pilot Riccardo was very relaxed<\/strong>, you could ask questions or just enjoy this magnificent view<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Towards the end he asked me if I would like to have a flight maneuver or loops<\/strong>, but I preferred the gentle glide<\/strong>. Since I tend to get nauseous during wild actions, I then didn’t want to get into the embarrassment of<\/strong> having it come up at the end during this tandem paragliding flight<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Soft landing<\/h3>\n<\/blockquote>\n

The landing on the meadow just before Malcesine<\/strong> on the promenade was also totally soft.<\/p>\n

We did the flight in the morning, when flights are usually quiet, it always depends on the thermals. Despite my tendency to seasickness and fear of heights, I can recommend the experience of tandem paragliding Lake Garda<\/strong> to everyone.<\/p>\n

Boundless freedom above Monte Baldo<\/h3>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Andy and I went to the Paragliding Snack Bar<\/a> afterwards and toasted to the great experience<\/strong>. We both had to let this adventure<\/strong> sink in, something you don’t experience every day!<\/p>\n

Another tip:<\/strong> Take only a small handbag or fanny pack<\/a>. The pilots do not have very much storage space. \"tongue-out\"<\/p>\n

Give it a try! Of course, only if there are no medical objections.<\/p>\n

It’s really a great experience<\/strong>. With a paragliding flight you make a big step out of your comfort zone<\/strong> and feelings of happiness<\/strong><\/span> come for free<\/strong><\/span>.<\/p>\n
