It goes particularly well with grilled chicken or juicy pork medallions, whose flavours are ideally complemented by the hearty polenta. There are also wonderful combinations for vegetarians: Grilled vegetables such as peppers and zucchinis add fresh, light notes, while roasted nuts and a hint of parmesan round off the taste experience. A fresh leaf salad with a light balsamic dressing is a refreshing addition and perfectly balances the strong flavors of the polenta.

- Dried porcini mushrooms 0.8% (Boletus edulis and related group)
- Bacon 1.2%

Preparation:
For the polenta, bring 2 liters of water to the boil with a pinch of salt. Slowly add the corn flour, stirring constantly to avoid lumps. Simmer over a medium heat for approx. 30 minutes, stirring regularly, until the polenta has a creamy consistency. Tip: Stir in butter and a few pieces of cheese while cooking.
